Meet the Doctors

Dr. Angus attended the University of Vermont for his undergraduate studies. Following graduation, He moved to Boston to pursue his dental training. He received his dental degree from Tufts School of Dental Medicine and was admitted to the OKU National Dental Honor Society. He then moved across town to Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry to study orthodontics. While at Boston University, he earned his Certificate in Orthodontics and a Masters Degree.

In 1975, Dr. Angus returned to Essex Junction, Vermont with his wife, Carol and daughter to join Associates in Orthodontics. The Angus family has grown to two daughters, a son, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law and two grandchildren. In addition to his family involvement, he has been active in many youth and church activities in the community.

Professionally, Dr. Angus is a member of the Vermont Association of Orthodontists, Northeast Society of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, the Champlain Valley Dental Society, Vermont State Dental Society and the American Dental Association.  He actively participates on regional and national committees for the American Association of Orthodontists.  Dr. Angus is a Board Member of the AAOIC, which provides over 50% of the country's orthodontic malpractice insurance. He is  also Past-President of the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists.  

 

Dr. David Angus

Dr. Librizzi received his undergraduate degree from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He then attended Ohio State University where he received his dental degree and was admitted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Following graduation, he entered a one year general practice dental residency at the Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Upon completion of the residency program, he attended the Tufts School of Dental Medicine and received his Certificate in Orthodontics in 1984.

Following graduation from Tufts, Dr. Librizzi moved to Essex, Vermont with his wife Linda and twin daughters to join Associates in Orthodontics. Since settling in Essex, the Librizzi family has added another daughter and two sons. Dr. Librizzi enjoys being involved with his children in their various athletic activities when not practicing orthodontics.

Professionally, Dr. Librizzi is a member of the Vermont Association of Orthodontists, the Northeast Society of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, the Champlain Valley Dental Society, Vermont State Dental Society and the American Dental Association.

 

 

Dr. Ted Libirzzi

Dr. Blasius lived in Jericho, Vermont with his family between the ages of 10 and 16. He attended the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut for his undergraduate studies. Dr. Blasius received his dental degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He was admitted into the OKU National Honor Society and the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity ( awarded for attaining the highest academic standing). During  dental school, Dr. Blasius completed all the course requirements for a Masters of Public Health.  He continued at the University of Connecticut in the Department of Orthodontics where he earned his Certificate in Orthodontics and a Masters Degree in Dental Science.

In 2001, Dr. Blasius returned to  Vermont with his wife, Bageshree, to join Associates in Orthodontics. They live in Charlotte and have two young sons. Dr. Blasius enjoys hiking, fishing, playing all sports (especially basketball and softball) and skiing.

Professionally, Dr. Blasius is a member of the Vermont Association of Orthodontists, Northeast Society of Orthodontists, American Society of Orthodontists, the Champlain Valley Dental Society, Vermont State Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Dr. Blasius also hopes to have several scientific papers published on his Masters project within the year.
